Cars

I love cars, engines, mechanics, motorsport and just about anything in between. At the moment the two cars I have are a Toyota MR2 Roadster VVTi (known as the MR2 Spyder in the USA), and an Audi A3 Sportback FSI Sport.

Toyota MR2 Roadster

The MR2 is great when it’s a nice sunny day and always puts a smile on my face. For those who are into their MR2’s or would just like to learn more, there is a fantastic community built around them over at the MR2 Roadster Owners’ Club

When I need to be able to get more than one other person in the car, the A3 does the trick nicely. It has outstanding build quality and is a much more relaxing car to drive around. My heart’s still with the MR2 though, and I think it will stay that way until I’m too old to take myself seriously driving around in a sports car :-)

Audi A3

m an avid F1 fan and enjoy cheering on Lewis Hamilton and the McLaren team every race weekend. My main criticism of F1 at the moment is that the governing body seem to think that people only watch F1 for the competition between the drivers, and are slowly but surely phasing out all the technological achievements that have been invented over the years such as traction control, ground effect, aerodynamics etc. Personally, I enjoy following the competition between the engineers, scientists and technicians just as much as that of the drivers.
